Summary
In the communication the Government describes how Sweden in an effective way shall contribute to a just and sustainable development, meaning that poor people more succesfully can use the globalisation. The development policy of the Government includes both an effective development cooperation of high quality and a coherence policy for all policy areas. The policy both aims to support the developing countries in their specific challenges, promote synergies between policy areas and handle factors both in Sweden and in the EU that restrain a positive development in developing countries.
