New Ambassador in Algiers

The Government today appointed Eva Emnéus as Ambassador in Algiers, Algeria.

Eva Emnéus is currently Consul-General in Gdansk, Poland. She has previously served as Director at the Nordic Council of Ministers' office in Riga, at various posts at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and at the Embassies in Kinshasa, Riga, Bangkok and Beijing.

Eva Emnéus will take up her post in autumn 2008.
