Sweden condemns attack on Indian Embassy in Kabul
"The Swedish Government condemns with the greatest severity today's attack on the Indian Embassy in Kabul and the groups responsible for the deed," says Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt.
The attack, in which 41 people were killed and over one hundred were injured, is the most serious in the Afghan capital since the fall of the Taliban government in 2001.
"The fact that the attack was directed at an embassy - moreover an embassy of such an important neighbour as India - makes the act particularly serious," says Mr Bildt.
