New Ambassador in Rabat

Today the Government appointed Michael Odevall as Sweden's Ambassador in Rabat, Morocco.

Michael Odevall is currently working as a Minister at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and is Sweden's Delegate to the Council of Baltic Sea States. He has previously been Sweden's Permanent Representative at the UN in Rome and served in various positions at the Swedish Delegation to the OECD in Paris, the Swedish Embassies in Berlin (GDR) and Bonn and the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York. He has also held various posts at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Cabinet Office Coordination Secretariat and the then Ministry of Trade.

Michael Odevall will take up his post in the autumn of 2008.
