Real and potential Nobel Prize winners in New York

A Nobel Monument has been standing in New York's Theodore Roosevelt Park since 2003, on which the names of all American Nobel Prize winners have been inscribed. In 2006, no fewer than six Americans were awarded the Prize. Four of them were present during the inscription ceremony in the beginning of June when the names of the three winners of the Swedish Consulate-General's essay contest "The Laureates of Tomorrow" were also announced.
