New website for Sino-Swedish environmental technology collaboration

A brand new website for exchange between Chinese and Swedish government representatives, organisations and companies has just been launched. Relations and trade between China and Sweden within sustainable development is gaining in importance. Sweden, as a world leader in environmental planning, design and technology has a lot to offer to the fast developing China. China, in turn, with its rapid urbanisation, its increasingly excelling innovation culture and great interest for exchange with the world places great interest in cooperation with Sweden.

Nordic Council Session in Reykjavik

The Nordic Council Session 2010 will take place in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik from Tuesday 2 November to Thursday 4 November. The Session will begin on Tuesday afternoon with a summit attended by all the Nordic Prime Ministers. The theme of this year's summit is 'Green growth - the way out of the crisis'. Those attending alongside Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt include Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt, Minister for Trade Ewa Björling and Minister for the Environment Andreas Carlgren.
