Swedish statutes in translation

Ds 2001:7

Publication date: 2001
Type: Ministry publications series
Source: Prime Minister's Office

Summary

Translations of Swedish laws and ordinances are required in any number of contexts. Ministries and government agencies may need them in contacts with their European counterparts and in other international contexts or when general information about Swedish legislation is called for. Companies, organisations and legal practititioners also need translations of statutes.

Over the years a number of government agencies and organisations in Sweden have collected translations and statutes and compiled lists of these documents. The Prime Minister's Office published one such list in 1984. Since then eight revised versions have followed. This one makes the ninth issue.
