Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt's participation in the international conference on Iraq

On Thursday 29 May Sweden will be the host country for the first Iraq Compact Annual Review Conference in Stockholm (the ICI Conference).

Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt will open the conference and in connection with this he will meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Prime Minister of Iraq Nouri Al-Maliki and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

The ICI is an international partnership whose purpose is to support the political process in Iraq needed to create stability and improve the conditions for equitable and sustainable development, and to support the strengthening of democracy and respect for human rights in Iraq.

Accreditation to the ICI Conference is required to cover the following programme points.
