Summary
In the action plan "Preventing Violent Conflict" the Government proposes new instruments and methods for preventing conflicts from escalating and leading to violence. Through this plan the Government wants to strengthen the role of prevention in international cooperation. Conflict prevention will be an integrated part of Sweden's foreign and security policy. May 1999
