This is a summary of "Preventing Violent Conflict - A Swedish Action Plan". This action plan for conflict prevention has been initiated by the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Jan Eliasson and conducted under the direction of the Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Anders Bjurner. This plan benefits from Sweden's many years of experience in international diplomacy, conflict resolution, international development co-operation and peacekeeping.
