Of all government and parliament websites in the EU, regeringen.se is the second best for accessibility

In the spring of 2007, the Funka Foundation examined into the accessibility of government and parliament websites in the EU countries. An accessible website has content that everyone can access, even people with disabilities. Of 60 websites tested, regeringen.se was deemed to be the second best, only just beaten by the British Government. The survey was commissioned by Handisam - the Swedish Agency for Disability Policy Coordination.

Prize for Classic Universal Design

In 2006, www.sweden.gov.se was awarded the prize for Classic Universal Design by the organisation Accessites.org. Among the reasons given was the following: "The Government Offices of Sweden site simply wowed the two assigned graders. Admittedly, this site would serve any business or institution well."
