Anti-doping work

The Swedish Sports Confederation receives funding to conduct a large number of doping checks.

Sweden makes an annual contribution to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to enable WADA to expand its activities, thereby improving the international fight against doping. Sweden has also acceded to the International Anti-Doping Arrangement (IADA), which is an intergovernmental agreement. Finally, Sweden is the first nation in the world to ratify the UNESCO Anti-Doping Convention that recently came into force.
