Consumer affairs

The Government Bill "Secure consumers who shop sustainably - Objectives and direction for consumer policy in Sweden" (Trygga konsumenter som handlar hållbart - Konsumentpolitikens mål och inriktning) which was presented in March 2006, proposes that "Secure consumers who shop sustainably" is to be the overall objective of consumer policy.

In June 2006 the Riksdag said yes to the new objectives.
