Areas of responsibility
The Ministry of Agriculture is part of the Government Offices. Ministry activities range over a wide area and its remit includes agriculture and environmental issues relating to agriculture, fisheries, reindeer husbandry, Sami affairs, horticulture, animal welfare, foodstuffs, hunting and game management as well as higher education and research in the field of agricultural sciences.
