Government agencies

Each ministry is responsible for a number of central government agencies. It is these agencies that are responsible for the day-to-day operations of public administration. The Government decides on objectives, guidelines and allocation of resources for the agencies activities. But it does not determine how agencies should apply a law or what decision they should take in specific cases. The Ministry of Defence is principal for 10 government agencies.
