Summary
The "Innovative Sweden" strategy, which stakes out a path for further work, has been drawn up by a working group comprising representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with other relevant ministries. In the course of the work, the group has canvassed the views of the business sector and the trade union movement, as well as representatives of the research and education community and public agencies. The strategy is intended for gradual implementation in such forms as Government measures set out in bills presented to the Swedish Parliament and instructions to central government agencies. Consultation and contacts with different sectors of society will continue during the implementation phase.
