New ambassador in Romania
The Government decided today, 20 May, to appoint Anders Bengtcén as Sweden's Ambassador in Romania.
Mr Bengtcén has been head of the MFA Department for Multilateral Development Cooperation for the past three years. Prior to that he was deputy head of the Department. He has also served at the MFA's Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. His postings abroad include being stationed at the Embassy in Riyadh and the Delegation of Sweden to the OECD in Paris.
Mr Bengtcén will take up his post in autumn 2010.
