Five new ambassadors to Stockholm

The following five ambassadors today present their letters of credence to HM The King.

Lebanon's newly appointed Ambassador, Nasrat El Assaad, was born in 1949 and is a career diplomat. In recent years he has held positions at Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, as Ambassador in Seoul and at the Lebanese Embassy in Belgrade.

The Republic of Korea's newly appointed Ambassador, Cho Hee-yong, was born in 1955 and is a career diplomat. He has previously held positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Seoul, as adjunct professor at Korea University and at the Embassies of the Republic of Korea in Manila and Washington.

Iran's newly appointed Ambassador, Rasoul Eslami, was born in 1955 and is a career diplomat. He has previously held positions as Head of Department for West Asian Affairs and Head of Department for Planning Issues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran. He has also served as Ambassador to Thailand and Kazakhstan.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's newly appointed Ambassador, Darko Zelenika, was born in 1961 and is an economist. In recent years he has served at the Embassies of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Washington and Bern, and as a head of department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ukraine's newly appointed Ambassador, Yevgen Perebyinis, was born in 1968 and is a career diplomat. His most recent position was that of Consul-General in Presov, Slovakia, and he has previously served at the office of the Ukrainian President in Kiev and at the Ukrainian Embassies in Prague and Athens.
