Mauritania's Foreign Minister visiting Sweden
On Monday, Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt met Mauritania's Foreign Minister Mohamed Saleck Ould Lémine, who is visiting Sweden.

- The subjects for our talks included the situation in Western Sahara, the situation in the Middle East and last week's attack on the Israeli Embassy in the capital of Nouakchott, said Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt after the meeting.
Regional issues such as the drugs trade, trafficking in human beings and relations with the EU were also taken up during the meeting. Mr Bildt welcomed Mauritania's entry into the Barcelona Process - a step towards more intensive cooperation between Mauritania and the European Union
