Talks about future welfare challenges under way at Fotografiska
On Thursday morning, the prime ministers of the nine participating countries arrived by boat at Fotografiska museet in Stockholm, the venue of today's Northern Future Forum.
Opening speech by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt
"This is an important meeting. In a Europe with short-term management of the debt crisis consistently on the agenda - we will instead address long-term growth issues. It is my hope that at this meeting, we will - together - be able to show a new, modern and open political leadership."
Northern Future Forum has started
At 19.00 on Wednesday, Fredrik Reinfeldt welcomed his prime ministerial colleagues and the participating experts to the inauguration of the Northern Future Forum. The welcome reception took place at Rosenbad and began with a speech by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.
